I’ve renamed my website as East London Celebrant, having now made Hackney Wick my home.

With best friends in Brighton and Lewes, a best mum living in Surrey (near Gatwick) and a lot of lovely friends in Guernsey, the Channel Islands, and the trend for hybrid meetings (some online and some at home), I’m also happy to travel to be your celebrant wherever. However, my home is now here, so I’m hoping to make friendships and connections with East London wedding venues and locations across London and Essex.

You can have a humanist wedding wherever, and I’ve conducted weddings and ceremonies in London pubs, restaurants, hotels, rooftop gardens and even in a secret part of Hampstead Heath at sunrise. I’ve also done a lot of outdoor ceremonies, in fields, teepees, gardens and woodlands. Freedom of location is one of many reasons you might choose a humanist wedding.

Born in South London, it’s been quite a major move to Hackney Wick, but I’m so happy to be here.

There are lots of great places to eat and drink, and when I’m cycling home across the oldest park in London, Victoria Park, with Nina Simone singing ‘Feeling Good’ in my head, I couldn’t feel happier.
